Modern platforms like the PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch encrypt internal storage tightly, meaning BYclouder cannot read them directly. You can only use this software if your game saves were stored on an external memory card (such as a Nintendo Switch SD card, a PlayStation Vita card, an older Wii/3DS card, or a formatted USB flash drive).
Remove the Storage Media: Unplug the SD card or USB flash drive from your game console.
Connect to a PC: Insert the media into a computer card reader. Do not format the card if Windows or macOS prompts you to do so.
Launch the Software: Open the BYclouder application on your computer.
Select the Device: Choose the drive letter or volume corresponding to your console’s external storage.
Apply File Filters: Set the file mask or filter to search specifically for game save extensions (such as .sav, .dat, or .bin depending on the platform).
Scan and Recover: Execute the deeper raw media scan. Once complete, preview the files and save the recovered files to your PC’s internal hard drive—never save them back onto the same SD card during recovery, as this will overwrite the data you are trying to rescue. Important Risks and Limitations
