Setting up a new alarm clock can be surprisingly frustrating, especially when you are staring at a blinking display and a row of identical buttons. If you recently purchased an alarm clock from Tarry91, this step-by-step guide will help you configure the time, set your alarms, and master the extra features without the headache. Step 1: Powering Up and Selecting the Time Format

Before pressing any buttons, connect your clock to a stable power source. Most Tarry91 models use a USB cable or a wall adapter, along with a backup battery to save your settings during power outages.

Once plugged in, the screen will start flashing. Look for a button labeled “12/24H” or “MODE.” Pressing this allows you to toggle between standard 12-hour time (with AM/PM indicators) and 24-hour military time. Pick your preferred format before moving to the next step. Step 2: Setting the Current Time

To set the clock to the correct local time, locate the “TIME SET” or “CLOCK” button.

Press and hold the “TIME SET” button until the hour digits begin to flash.

Use the “UP” and “DOWN” arrows (or “+” and “-” buttons) to adjust the hour. If you chose the 12-hour format, pay close attention to the small “PM” light on the display to ensure you do not set the time 12 hours off.

Press the “TIME SET” button once more to confirm the hour. The minute digits will now begin to flash. Use the arrow buttons to adjust the minutes. Press “TIME SET” a final time to lock in the current time. Step 3: Programming Your Alarm

Tarry91 clocks usually feature dual alarms, allowing you to set two separate wake-up times (labeled as AL1 and AL2).

Press and hold the “ALARM 1” button until the alarm time display begins to flash.

Adjust the alarm hour using the “UP” and “DOWN” buttons, keeping an eye on the AM/PM indicator.

Press “ALARM 1” again to switch to the minutes, and use the arrows to adjust them.

On advanced Tarry91 models, pressing the alarm button once more will let you select the alarm schedule. You can often choose between “1-7” (every day), “1-5” (weekdays only), or “6-7” (weekends only).

Press “ALARM 1” a final time to save. Repeat this process using the “ALARM 2” button if you need a second wake-up time. Step 4: Activating and Deactivating the Alarm

Just because an alarm time is saved does not mean it is turned on. Look for a small bell or clock icon on the main screen. If the icon is not visible, your alarm will not go off. To toggle the alarm on or off, quickly press the “ALARM” button once (do not hold it). The icon will appear or disappear to show the status. Step 5: Using the Snooze and Dimmer Functions

When the alarm goes off in the morning, hitting the large “SNOOZE” button on top of the clock will silence the sound for 9 minutes. To turn the alarm off completely until the next day, press any button on the clock except for Snooze.

If the display is too bright at night, that same Snooze button often doubles as a “DIMMER” control when the alarm is not ringing. Tap it repeatedly during the evening to cycle through the brightness levels until you find a comfortable setting for sleep.

To make sure everything works perfectly, consider setting a test alarm for two minutes from now.
